First Time at Viterbo for Alfie Mair
Round 2 of the RMC Winter Series saw Alfie Mair head to the Italian circuit of Viterbo for the first time. Representing SFR Motorsport and powered by RPM Engines, this was a brand-new challenge for Alfie.
He entered the weekend sitting 6th in the standings. Despite having no prior experience at this track, Alfie quickly got up to speed and qualified 10th.

Climbing the Ranks in the Heats
Alfie’s race pace came alive in the heat races. He secured consistent top-three finishes throughout, proving just how quickly he could adapt. The combination of Alfie’s driving, the support from SFR Motorsport, and the performance of RPM Engines gave him the edge.
Momentum was on his side as he lined up for the pre-final.

A Pre-Final Win and a Glimpse at the Podium
Alfie delivered an incredible performance in the pre-final and took the win. This result meant he had a real shot at finishing 2nd overall in the Winter Series if things went well in the final.
Unfortunately, motorsport is often unpredictable.
Final Frustrations and a Lesson Learned
In the final, Alfie couldn’t match the pace he had shown earlier. As he slipped back through the field, frustration set in. He struggled to recover and eventually crossed the line in 17th place.
The result saw him finish 4th overall in the 2025 Winter Series — just one step away from the podium and a prize.

Building for the Future
Although missing out on a trophy was a tough pill to swallow, there were plenty of positives. Alfie showed incredible speed, racecraft, and resilience throughout the weekend. His growth as a driver continues to shine through.
With Viterbo behind him, Alfie now looks ahead to the next race weekend, stronger and more focused than ever.
